Wayne State put the game away early in the second half by coming out of the locker room with a 15-2 run to start the second half, taking their biggest lead of the night at 47-21 with 14:26 to go in the contest.  The Wildcats still held a 21 point lead at 54-33 with 8:26 to play but the host Mustangs did not give up and cut the lead to nine points at 58-49 with 3:12 remaining before WSC finished with the 63-52 win.
Arlen led all scorers with her ninth double-double of the season, 22 points and 10 rebounds, to pace the Wildcats.  Seniors Clare Duwelius and Ali Schwartzwald also reached double digits with 10 points apiece.  WSC finished the contest making 25 of 60 shots for 41.7 percent.  The 'Cats were 6 of 17 from the three point line and 7 of 10 at the charity stripe.
