WSC had just three hits in the win, two singles by Bisenius and a single from Keim.  Barth (1-1) was the winning pitcher in relief of starter Tom Doran.  Doran worked 4 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on five hits with three strikeouts while Barth pitched the final 2 2/3 innings and gave up one run on three hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
The second game saw Bisenius homer while WSC reliever Trevor Reeves struck out eight UMD batters in stellar innings of relief as the Wildcats defeated Minnesota Duluth 4-2 to complete the four-game series sweep.
The 'Cats opened the scoring with two runs in the first inning as Braulio Acosta singled and scored on a Travis Parsons single and Mike Bisenius walked and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Jake Ritzdorf for a 2-0 early lead.  UMD cut the lead to 2-1 in the second, but Bisenius blasted his fifth home run of the season over the centerfield fence in the top of the third to give WSC a 3-1 lead.
UMD scored in the bottom of the sixth to trim the Wildcat advantage to 3-2, but WSC scored in the seventh when Beranek led off the inning with a single and later scored on a Luke Abkes RBI single to close out the scoring giving WSC the 4-2 win.
