Wayne State (1-0, 1-0 NSIC) hosts Minot State (0-1, 0-1 NSIC) in the home opener for the Wildcat football team Saturday afternoon with kickoff slated for 1 p.m. at Cunningham Field in Wayne.  It will be the first meeting between the two clubs since 1989 when the Wildcats edged the Beavers 20-14 to give then head coach Dennis Wagner his first win as a Wildcat head coach.
