The Wayne State College women's soccer team fell to 1-7-1 on the season Friday evening with a 5-0 setback at Minnesota Duluth. The host Bulldogs improve to 6-2 and 5-1 in the league while WSC is now 1-4-1 in NSIC play.
Minnesota Duluth held a sizeable 36-6 edge in shots over the Wildcats and had a 10-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Kelly Voigt had two shots to lead WSC while freshman goalkeeper
Kylie Comba was credited with 18 saves in the contest.
Wayne State will conclude their NSIC road trip Sunday afternoon with a 1 p.m. contest at St. Cloud State.
