             #13 Wayne State College used 13 kills on a .650 attack percentage from junior Elizabeth Gebhardt to sweep Minot State 25-12, 25-20, 25-12 Saturday afternoon in Northern Sun volleyball play in Minot, N.D.  The Wildcats improve to 16-2 on the season with a NSIC record of 9-1 while Minot State drops to 4-14, with a 2-8 NSIC record.
            The Wildcats outhit the Beavers .265 to .050 in the match, recording 39 kills to 30 for Minot State.  Wayne State forced Minot State into 24 attack errors to just eight errors by the Wildcats.  Minot State also had seven service errors in the match to just two by Wayne State.  Minot State out dug Wayne State 58 to 55 on the match, but Wayne State had eight blocks to just two blocks by the Beavers. 
            Elizabeth Gebhardt paced the Wildcats offensively with 13 kills in the match on just 20 total attacks, giving her an attack percentage of .650 for the match.  Michaela Mestl, Katie Hughes and Alyssa Frauendorfer added seven kills each for the Wildcats, while Leisa McClintock added five more kills of her own.  Alex Opperman had three blocks for the 'Cats in the match for the Wildcats.  Leisa McClintock also dished out 29 assists in the match for Wayne State.
            The Wildcats return home Tuesday evening, entertaining #7 Southwest Minnesota State in a Northern Sun Conference matchup starting at 7 p.m.
