Box Score Southwest Minnesota State 1 Wayne State 0            Southwest Minnesota State scored the decisive goal of the contest late in the second half as the Mustangs recorded a 1-0 Northern Sun Conference women's soccer victory over Wayne State Sunday afternoon in Marshall, Minnesota. With the win, Southwest Minnesota State finishes the season at 8-8-2 overall, and 8-6-1 in the Northern Sun, while with the loss Wayne State finishes the season 4-11-3 overall and 3-6-3 in league play.
           The first half was fairly pedestrian with just seven shots combined from the two sides, four by Wayne State and just three from Southwest Minnesota State. The Wildcats also held the advantage in corner kicks in the half with a 4-0 advantage over the Mustangs but were unable to exploit the Southwest Minnesota State backline on any of the set piece opportunities. Â
           The Mustangs came out as the aggressor in the second half, out shooting the Wildcats 5-1 in the half. The Wildcat defense held firm, until the 82
nd minute, when Southwest Minnesota State's Kendahl Fisher scored what ended up being the game winning goal for the Mustangs.
           For the match, Southwest Minnesota State held a 8-5 advantage in shots over Wayne State. The Wildcats held a 3-1 advantage in corner kicks, and were only called for three fouls to seven called on the Mustangs.Â

Hannah Knight all added a shot for the 'Cats in the match.  Â
