The Wayne State College women's basketball team puts a 14-game win streak on the line this weekend, closing out the NSIC regular season slate with games at Winona State and Upper Iowa. The 23-3 Wildcats, first in the NSIC with a 17-3 league mark, need one win this weekend to clinch a second straight NSIC regular season crown and fourth in the last five seasons. WSC faces a Winona State team Friday night at 6 p.m. that is the last unbeaten team at home (12-0 overall, 9-0 NSIC) while WSC has the best road record in the NSIC at 8-1. The Wildcats and Warriors met earlier this season with WSC winning 64-44 in Wayne on January 24th. Upper Iowa starts the weekend at 7-17 and 5-15 in the NSIC and suffered a 69-38 setback at Wayne State on January 23rd in the first meeting this season.
