Wayne State travels to Marshall, Minnesota Saturday evening for an NSIC South Division battle against Southwest Minnesota State with kickoff set for 6 p.m. on Mattke Field at the Schwan Regional Event Center. Both teams are coming off losses last weekend as SMSU (4-2, 1-1 NSIC South) lost at then #9 Sioux Falls 48-28 while WSC (2-4, 1-1 NSIC South) lost at home to Augustana 44-31. Wayne State holds a 19-8 lead in the all-time series, but the Mustangs have won three of the last four meetings. Last year, SMSU won in Wayne 61-3 while WSC scored a wild 48-45 OT win in Marshall two years ago.
