Wayne State faces a short week as the Wildcats travel to Crookston, Minnesota Thursday evening for a 7 p.m. contest at Minnesota Crookston. The Wildcats are 1-1 on the year following Saturday's 48-10 triumph over the University of Mary while UMC sports an 0-2 mark after a 56-19 loss at then #12 Minnesota State. Wayne State holds an 11-2 lead in the series against the Golden Eagles that started in 1999. The 'Cats have won seven straight meetings, including a 58-16 win in Wayne two years ago.The game will be televised by Midco Sports Network, a sports cable station that serves North Dakota and South Dakota along with parts of western and northern Minnesota.
