            #1 Southwest Minnesota State posted a .347 attack percentage with 11 service aces to take down #17 Wayne State 25-16, 25-13, 25-15 Saturday afternoon in Northern Sun Conference volleyball played at the PE Gym in Marshall, Minnesota.  The host Mustangs are now 10-0 and 2-0 in the NSIC while WSC slips to 6-4 and 1-1 in league play.
            The Mustangs never trailed in the first set, limiting the Wildcats to just six kills in a 25-16 set win. 
            SMSU hit a sizzling .484 in the second set with 17 kills to post a 25-13 set win.
            Southwest Minnesota State closed out the match with five aces in the third set to complete the sweep for a 25-15 set win.
            SMSU hit .347 for the match while holding WSC to .079.  The Mustangs held a 7-2 edge in blocks and 11-3 in service aces over the Wildcats.
            Erin Gross led WSC with six kills followed by Tarrin Beller and Jaci Brahmer with five apiece.  Sophomore libero Haley Kauth had 12 digs while setter Megan Gebhardt was credited with 17 assists.
            Wayne State will be at home Tuesday evening hosting #9 Augustana at 6 p.m. in the 12^th annual Pack the House/Black Out Night in Rice Auditorium.
