Wayne State College opens the 2018-19 season this weekend hosting the MIAA/NSIC Crossover at Rice Auditorium in
Wayne. The opening game on Friday features Minnesota Crookston vs. Nebraska-Kearney at 5:30 p.m. followed by Wayne State battling
Northwest Missouri State at 7:30 p.m. Saturday's schedule has Minnesota Crookston facing Northwest Missouri State at 3:30 p.m. with
WSC battling UNK in a 5:30 p.m. contest.
 
The Wildcats return three starters and nine letterwinners from last year's team that was 25-7 overall and second in the NSIC South with an 18-4 league mark.
