Wayne State entertains #21 Winona State Thursday evening in the 2018 college football opener for both teams at Bob Cunningham Field in Wayne with kickoff set for 6 p.m.  The Wildcats are coming off a 6-5 season and picked ninth in the Preseason NSIC Coaches Poll while Winona State posted a 10-2 mark last year and was predicted second overall and second in the NSIC South in this year's Preseason Poll.  Last season, Winona State topped the Wildcats in Winona 42-19.
