Wayne State and Minot State played to a 0-0 double overtime tie in Northern Sun Conference women's soccer Friday evening in Minot, North Dakota. Minot State is now 4-1-2 and 2-1-1 in the NSIC while WSC is 1-4-1 overall and 1-2-1 in league play.
Minot State held a slim 5-4 edge in shots during the first period with Wildcat freshman goalkeeper
Alyssa Bagley recording three saves. WSC had the only two corner kicks of the first half, but could not convert on either opportunity.
The Wildcats had just four shots in the second half, but two came in a span of 24 seconds from sophomore
Rylie Wehner in the final 1:10 that required saves on both from Minot State goalkeeper Erin Rafferty to keep the contest scoreless and send into overtime.
Minot State had the lone shot of the first overtime, which was high, sending the contest into a second overtime.
The Wildcats continued their strong defensive play in the second overtime period. Minot State registered one shot and one corner kick as Wayne State denied the Beavers from scoring to preserve a 0-0 double overtime tie.
Minot State held a 13-8 advantage over the Wildcats in shots and 4-3 in shots on goal. The Beavers held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks over WSC while Wayne State had eight fouls to six on the Beavers.
Wehner led WSC with four shots and two on goal.
Madison Kemp had the other Wildcat shot on goal.

Alyssa Bagley notched her second shutout of the season for the Wildcats, credited with four saves in the contest.
