The Wayne State College women's basketball team will close out a three-game homestand to open NSIC play as the Wildcats welcome Upper Iowa and Winona State to Rice Auditorium this weekend.  The 'Cats are 5-1 and 1-0 in the NSIC heading into Friday's matchup against UIU (0-6, 0-1 NSIC) while Winona State starts the weekend at 5-0 and 1-0 in league play.  Last season, WSC won both meetings against Upper Iowa (68-60 in Fayette and 99-74 in Wayne) while WSC and WSU split last season with each team winning on their home floor - Winona State 61-56 in Winona and Wayne State 59-58 in Wayne.
