The Wayne State College baseball team will open Northern Sun Conference play this weekend facing Minnesota Crookston in a series moved from the Pete Chapman Baseball Complex in Wayne to Omaha Westside High School due to rain/snow and wet field conditions. Games are now scheduled for Sunday with a doubleheader starting at 10 a.m. followed by a nine-inning game on Monday set for a 12 p.m. start.  The Wildcats are 9-4 on the season with Minnesota Crookston sporting a 7-7 mark.  It marks the first time since 2016 that WSC and UMC have met in baseball.
