The Wayne State College baseball team hosts defending NCAA Division II national champion and 24th ranked Augustana in the final home series of the 2019 season for the Wildcats at the Pete Chapman Baseball Complex in Wayne. Saturday's doubleheader starts at 1 p.m. with Sunday's nine-inning contest beginning at noon that includes a Senior Day salute to five Wildcat seniors playing at home for the final time.  Augustana enters the weekend atop the NSIC standings at 24-5 in the league and 31-13 overall while WSC is fifth in the league at 30-13 overall and 21-9 in NSIC contests.  Last season, the two teams split a four-game series in the regular season followed by an Augustana win over WSC in the NSIC Tournament.
