Wayne State travels to Wichita, Kansas to face the Jets of Newman University in a three-game non-conference baseball series this weekend.  Due to predicted bad weather on Sunday, the three-game series has been moved up one day with a doubleheader set for Friday starting at 12:30 p.m. and a nine-inning game on Saturday at 1 p.m. to conclude the three game set.  WSC enters the series with a record of 4-3 with Newman at 3-7.  The two teams met in the season opener in Cleburne, Texas on January 31st with the Wildcats winning 8-6 on a walk off homer in the bottom of the ninth by Bryce Bisenius.
