The Wayne State College men's basketball team begins the second half of the abbreviated 2021 schedule with NSIC South Division games this weekend at Winona State.  Game times are Friday at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m. at McCown Gymnasium in Winona.  WSC is 4-4 overall and 4-2 in the NSIC South Division following a home split last weekend vs. Upper Iowa (W 99-71, L 82-74) while Winona State is 3-2 and 1-1 in the division after a road split at Augustana (W 87-82, L 73-63) last weekend.  Last season, Wayne State won both meetings against Winona State  - 70-63 in Wayne (12/7/19) and 102-97 in triple overtime at Winona (1/10/20).  Three of the last eight meetings between the two clubs have gone overtime and all three overtime games were Wildcat victories.
