Wayne State is 16-3 on the season and third place in the NSIC with a 9-2 league mark entering this weekend's home matches vs. Upper Iowa Friday night and #12 Winona State Saturday afternoon.  The Wildcats are ranked eighth in this week's AVCA Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll after splitting road matches last weekend at then #7 Concordia-St. Paul (L 3-2) and Minnesota State (W 3-0).  In the lone 2019 meetings against the two clubs, WSC won a five-set thriller at Upper Iowa (10/12/19) and posted a 3-1 victory at Winona State (10/11/19).
