Wayne State is 21-7 on the season entering this week's NSIC Volleyball Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The Wildcats are the #4 seed following a 14-6 league mark in the NSIC this season.  The Wolves are the #5 seed for this week's NSIC Volleyball Tournament after going 18-10 overall this season with a 13-7 league mark.  WSC and NSU met once in the regular season with the Wildcats prevailing 25-18, 25-19, 25-17 in a match played in Wayne on October 8th.   The last time Wayne State and Northern State met in the NSIC Tournament came in the 2014 season when the Wildcats were the #3 seed and defeated #6 seed Northern State in Rice Auditorium in the opening round 25-10, 25-19, 19-25, 25-17.
