Wayne State hosts a pair of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams Thursday and Friday in Rice Auditorium as tune-ups before opening Northern Sun Conference play next week as the Wildcats welcome Chadron State to Wayne Thursday night at
7:00 p.m. followed by a Friday 5:30 p.m. contest vs. Black Hills State. The Wildcats are 1-0 after opening the season last Saturday with a 72-65 road win at Newman in Wichita, Kansas. Chadron State comes to Wayne with a record of 0-2 following two road losses in Texas over the weekend while Black Hills State is 1-1 after splitting a pair of games at Minot State last weekend.  WSC owns a 29-4 lead in the all-time series against Chadron State and has won the last 12 meetings, including the most recent matchup in 2014 by a score of 88-50. The Wildcats and Yellow Jackets from Black Hills State have faced each other just once with WSC winning in Spearfish two years ago 84-74.
