Wayne State returns to Rice Auditorium this weekend to start a four-game homestand to close the regular season as the Wildcats host Southwest Minnesota State in NSIC South Division games Friday night at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
The Wildcats are 5-7 and 4-6 in the NSIC South Division following two road losses at Sioux Falls last weekend 80-45 and 62-58 while the Mustangs are 7-3 and 5-3 in the division following a home split vs. Augustana (L 83-81 OT and W 75-62).  Last season, SMSU and WSC split with the Wildcats winning in Wayne 79-62 followed by a 77-60 Mustang win in Marshall that snapped a 21-game losing skid to the Wildcats in the series.
