Wayne State hosts the top two teams from the NSIC North Division this weekend at Rice Auditorium as the Wildcats welcome St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth to Wayne.  Friday's game vs. SCSU starts at 5:30 p.m. followed by a 3:30 p.m. matchup against Minnesota Duluth on Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats are looking to snap a four-game losing skid, sitting at 7-8 overall and sixth place in the NSIC South Division with a 4-7 league mark.  St. Cloud State comes to Wayne at 12-3 overall and tied for first with UMD in the NSIC North at 10-2.  Minnesota Duluth starts the weekend at 12-4 and 10-2 in league play.  In the last meetings played during the 2019-20 season, SCSU and WSC split a pair of meetings with WSC winning in the regular season at St. Cloud 79-58 followed by a 75-62 Husky win one month later in the opening round of the NSIC Tournament in St. Cloud.  UMD has won the last two meetings against WSC that includes a 77-54 win in Duluth two years ago.
