Box Score Augustana scored two goals just 2:15 apart in the first seven minutes of the second half to snap a scoreless tie and defeat Wayne State 2-0 in Northern Sun Conference women's soccer Thursday afternoon in Sioux Falls. Wayne State ends the season with records of 3-11-4 overall and 3-9-3 in the NSIC while Augustana advances to next week's NSIC Tournament at 10-6-2 and 10-4-1 in league play.
Despite the host Vikings holding a 10-0 edge in shots over Wayne State in the first half that included six corner kicks, the Wildcats battled Augustana to a scoreless tie in the opening half of play.
Augustana came out early in the second half and scored a pair of goals, both by Josie Arduser, within a span of 2:15, to provide the Vikings the only scoring of the contest to pick up the 2-0 victory.
Both teams had nine shots in the second half as WSC registered five shots on goal.
Chloe Schlines had a pair of shots on goal to lead Wayne State in the contest.

Reagan Allen also had shots on goal for the 'Cats.
Junior goalkeeper
Hayden Wallace played 83 of the 90 minutes in the contest and was credited with 10 saves while allowing two goals. Senior Reagan Ott finished the final seven minutes and faced one shot with one save.
Augustana ended the contest with a 19-9 advantage in shots over the Wildcats including 14-5 in shots on goal. The Vikings had 10 corner kicks to three by the Wildcats while Augustana had one more foul than WSC 3-2.
