Wayne State resumes Northern Sun Conference play this week as the Wildcats conclude a five-game road swing Thursday at Sioux Falls followed by a Saturday home game against Southwest Minnesota State in Rice Auditorium. The Wildcats are 6-1 overall and 1-0 in the NSIC after winning three road games last week - at Augustana and two wins in Florida over Tampa and Eckerd.  Sioux Falls is off to a 5-2 start (0-1 in the NSIC South) while Southwest Minnesota State starts the week at 4-1 and 1-0 in NSIC play.  Last season the home team won each time WSC faced Sioux Falls and SMSU.  The Wildcats lost at Sioux Falls 81-79 while topping the Cougars 76-63 in Wayne.  Against SMSU last season, WSC edged the Mustangs 68-65 in Wayne while falling to the Mustangs in Marshall in overtime 60-55.
