2022 NSIC Men's Cross Country Championship Final Results
    The Wayne State College men's cross country team finished 9
th place with 236 points at the 2022 Northern Sun Conference Cross Country Championships held Saturday morning at the Wayne Country Club.

    Augustana took the team title with 18 points followed by Minnesota State and Sioux Falls with 94 points. UMary was fourth (105), fifth was Minnesota Duluth (134), followed by Minot State (164), Northern State (222), MSU Moorhead (223), Wayne State (236), and Winona State (239) to round out the top ten.

    Junior Brandon Mundorf was the top finisher for the Wildcats with a time of 25:44.94 on the 8,000-meter course placing 18
th to be on the All-NSIC Second Team. Mundorf becomes Wayne State's first All-Conference finisher since John Kern in 2010 (First Team All-NSIC/7th place).

    Titus Kiptoo placed 37
th with a time of 26:35.57. He was followed by Quentin Dreyer with a time of 27:27.70.

    Abe Schroeder crossed the finish line with a time of 27:33.74 placing 66
th. Will McGonigal followed him with a time of 28:00.74 to place 77
th.

    Other Wildcat finishers include Brandon Mitzel placing 87
th (28:16.17), Isaac Richards placing 102
nd (28:44.51), Gabe Peitz placing 107
th (29:14.20), and Andrew Wylie placing 117
th (30:20.18).

    Wayne State will close out the 2022 cross country season on Saturday, November 19 at the NCAA Central Region Championships in Joplin, Missouri. Â
