The Wayne State women's basketball team closes the regular season this weekend playing Thursday evening at Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall, Minnesota at 5:30 p.m. followed by the home finale Saturday against Sioux Falls starting at 3:30 p.m. in Rice Auditorium. The Wildcats are 9-13 on the season and seventh place in the NSIC South Division at 6-12 entering Thursday's matchup at SMSU, 11-11 and sixth place in the NSIC South at 8-10 in the league.  Sioux Falls starts the last weekend of regular season play at 14-11 and third place in the NSIC South with a 9-9 league record.  Earlier this season, WSC edged Southwest Minnesota State in overtime in Wayne 69-65 followed by a 76-75 road loss at Sioux Falls two days later.
