Wayne State hosts St. Cloud State in the first round of the NSIC Sanford Health Men's Basketball Tournament Wednesday evening at Rice Auditorium starting at 6 p.m.  The Wildcats are the #3 seed in the South Division at 14-11 overall and 11-8 in league play while St. Cloud State earned the #6 seed from the North Division at 10-17 and 6-12 in league play.  Earlier this season, WSC and St. Cloud State met in Wayne (January 21) with the Wildcats prevailing 83-59.    This marks the third time in the last four seasons that WSC and SCSU have met in the NSIC Sanford Health Tournament.  Last season, WSC edged the Huskies 73-70 in the quarterfinals at the Pentagon in Sioux Falls and won another close contest vs. SCSU three years ago 77-76. 
 
Tickets for the game are $10 for adults, $2 for students/youth and free for ages 5 and younger.  All WSC students get in for FREE.  Students will also receive a FREE sub sandwich and ice cream bar while supplies last and have a chance to win a $500 scholarship.
