Concordia St. Paul would score three goals on the Wayne State Women's Soccer team to defeat the Wildcats 3-1 Sunday afternoon in a Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference match. Wayne State is now 0-4-1 on the season while Concordia-St. Paul moves to 1-3-1.
The Wildcats would strike first for their only goal of the game at the 26:12 mark in the first half by defender
Haley Hoffman. She was assisted by Celo Johnson.
The Golden Bears would tie the game up 12 minutes later with a goal coming from Jada Cannady. The game would head to halftime then tied 1-1.
Concordia-St. Paul would score two goals early in the second half with the first coming at the 54:16 mark and the second at the 57:05 mark. Concordia-St. Paul went on to win the game 3-1.
Wayne State would have 12 shots with five on goal in the match while Concordia-St. Paul would have 19 shots with 10 on goal.
Peyton Haliburton,
Reagan Allen, and Celo Johnson would all record two shots in the loss with each of them recording a shot on goal.
Sidney Truman would record all seven saves on the day for the Wildcats.
