Wayne State will hit the road for their first NSIC North Division games this weekend as the Wildcats face co-North Division leaders MSU Moorhead (11-2, 6-1 NSIC North) and Northern State (10-3, 6-1 NSIC North). Friday's game vs. the #25 Dragons in Moorhead begins at 7:30 p.m. with tipoff at Northern State Saturday set for 6 p.m. in Aberdeen, South Dakota. The Wildcats lead the NSIC South Division entering this weekend's road trip at 11-3 overall and 6-2 in the league. WSC and MSUM did not meet last season due to COVID-19. The Dragons have won the last 11 meetings against the Wildcats including the most recent victory, 84-72 in the first round of the NCAA Central Regional in Aberdeen in March, 2021. Saturday's game in Aberdeen against NSU marks the first time the 'Cats and Wolves have faced each other in Aberdeen since 2019. Last season WSC beat NSU in Wayne 69-53.
