It's another three match week (third straight week) for the #1 ranked Wayne State College volleyball team as the 'Cats host three NSIC contests in Rice Auditorium - Tuesday vs. Winona State at 6 p.m., Friday at 6 p.m. vs. Bemidji State and Saturday at 4 p.m. vs. Minnesota Crookston. For the third straight week, the Wildcats are ranked #1 in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. WSC is 14-1 overall and the last unbeaten team left in NSIC play with a 5-0 league mark following a pair of top 10 league road sweeps over the weekend at #6 St. Cloud State (25-23, 25-23, 25-21) and at #10 Minnesota Duluth (25-19, 25-17, 25-11). Last season, WSC posted two wins over Winona State - winning 3-1 (25-21, 17-25, 25-16, 26-24) in Winona and 3-0 in Wayne (25-19, 25-16, 25-12). The 'Cats also posted sweeps over Bemidji State (25-15, 25-15, 25-15) and Minnesota Crookston (25-8, 25-10, 25-10) in Wayne.
