Wayne State hosts Sioux Falls Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. in the opening round of the 2023 NSIC Volleyball Tournament at Rice Auditorium in Wayne.  This year's tournament features a new format as the top four seeds host first round games with the highest remaining seed playing host to the semifinals and finals this weekend.  Previous years the tournament was hosted at a neutral site with three games/rounds in three days. The Wildcats captured a second straight NSIC regular season title by going 18-0 in the league this season and 27-1 overall while Sioux Falls is the eighth seed with records of 13-14 and 9-9 in league play. The two teams met once this season - September 22nd in Sioux Falls - with the Wildcats winning 25-17, 25-19, 25-19.
