Wayne State hosts #8 St. Cloud State Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in the semi-finals of the 2023 NSIC Volleyball Tournament at Rice Auditorium in Wayne.  With Wayne State's first round win Tuesday evening over Sioux Falls as the top seed, the #1 ranked Wildcats earned the right to host this weekend's semi-finals and finals of the NSIC Volleyball Tournament.  The Wildcats opened NSIC Tournament play Tuesday evening with a 25-23, 25-14, 25-16 win over #8 seed Sioux Falls in Rice Auditorium while SCSU opened NSIC Tournament play at home Tuesday evening and swept Northern State 25-21, 25-19, 25-14.  Wayne State and St. Cloud State have met twice this season with the Wildcats prevailing in both contests. In the first matchup played at St. Cloud on September 29th WSC was victorious 25-23, 25-23, 25-21. The second meeting played in Wayne on November 11th with WSC picking up a 27-25, 25-19, 24-26, 25-21 win over the Huskies.
