Wayne State battles Bemidji State Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the quarterfinals of the NSIC Men's Basketball Tournament at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The Wildcats are the #1 seed in the South Division after clinching their third NSIC South Division title in five years this season at 13-9 in the league and 18-10 overall and earned a first round bye.  The Beavers are the #4 seed from the North Division (13-9) and are 19-10 after outscoring Augustana 92-88 Wednesday evening in a first round contest played in Bemidji.
            WSC and BSU met earlier this season on January 20th in Wayne with the Wildcats winning 68-53 in Rice Auditorium.  This will be the fifth time the two teams have met in the NSIC Tournament with each team winning twice.  The most recent meeting in 2014 saw the Wildcats defeat the Beavers in Bemidji 88-76.
