Wayne State hosts Minnesota State and Concordia-St. Paul this weekend in NSIC South Division men's basketball matchups in Rice Auditorium as the Mavericks play in Wayne Friday at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday contest vs. CSP at 3:30 p.m.
The Wildcats are tied for first in the NSIC South with Sioux Falls at 11-7 in the league and 16-8 overall. MSU comes to Wayne at 15-9 and fifth in the NSIC South at 9-9 while the Golden Bears start the weekend on a four-game win streak and are 8-16 on the season and 6-12 in league play. Earlier this season on the road, WSC recorded a 77-73 win in St. Paul (12/9/22) followed by a 96-89 loss the next night in Mankato against the Mavericks.
