Augustana Twilight Invite Final Men's Results
The Wayne State College men's cross country team took 15
th out of 32 teams with 418 points Friday evening at the season-opening Augustana Twilight Invitational held in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at Yankton Trails Park. Senior
Titus Kiptoo was the top Wildcat finisher placing 53
rd overall.
South Dakota State captured the team title with 62 points followed by St. Thomas of Minnesota with 68 and Nebraska third at 83 points. Augustana (94) and Minnesota State (190) rounded out the top five teams.
Kiptoo, a senior from Kapsabet, Kenya, recorded a time of 20:42.86 on the four-mile course to place 53
rd out of 358 runners in the meet.
