For the second straight week, the Wildcats play three matches with a non-conference home match Tuesday vs. Peru State followed by a tough NSIC road trip this weekend visiting #6 St. Cloud State Friday at 6 p.m. and #10 Minnesota Duluth Saturday at 4 p.m.  Last season, Wayne State swept Peru State in Wayne (9/13/22) by scores of 25-14, 25-8, 25-13.  The 'Cats won at St. Cloud State in the regular season (9/23/22) in a sweep 25-20, 25-13, 27-25 with the Huskies downing the 'Cats 3-1 (28-30, 16-25, 25-22, 22-25) in the semi-finals of the NCAA Central Regional in Wayne (11/19/22).  In the lone match vs. Minnesota Duluth last season - 9/24/22 in Duluth - WSC posted a sweep over the Bulldogs 25-20, 25-16, 25-15.
