After playing 10 of their last 13 games in the friendly confines of Rice Auditorium, the Wayne State men's basketball team begins a four-game NSIC road trip this weekend with games at Northern State Friday evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday afternoon 3:30 p.m. contest at the University of Mary 3:30 p.m. Wayne State is 9-7 and 2-7 in the NSIC entering this weekend's play and faces a Northern State club that is 6-8 overall and 4-4 in the NSIC. UMary starts the weekend at 6-8 and 1-7 in league play. NSU leads the all-time series with Wayne State 38-24 and has won four of the last five matchups against the Wildcats, including a 96-69 win in Aberdeen last season. WSC enjoys a 18-6 lead in the series vs. the Marauders and has won six straight meetings against UMary including a 72-52 win in Wayne last season.
