Wayne State hits the road this weekend for Northern Sun Conference women's basketball games at Northern State Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. and the University of Mary Saturday at 5:30 p.m. After playing nine of their first 12 games at home in Rice Auditorium, the Wildcats now have eight of the next 11 games on the road in conference play. WSC is 4-8 and 1-8 in the NSIC entering Friday's game at Northern State, who is 10-4 and tied for third in the NSIC at 6-2. UMary starts the weekend also sitting 6-2 in the league and 10-6 overall. The Wildcats hold a 30-26 lead in the all-time series with Northern State but the Wolves have won three of the last four matchups including a 66-60 win in Aberdeen last season. WSC is 17-9 all-time against the Marauders, but UMary has won the last four matchups including two wins last season - 56-49 in Wayne and 79-72 in the NSIC Tournament First Round at Sioux Falls.
