The Wayne State College women's basketball team caps a four-game NSIC road trip this weekend with games at St. Cloud State Friday night and at Bemidji State Saturday afternoon. Starting this weekend, women's teams now play first in league doubleheaders meaning Friday's game at St. Cloud State has a 5:30 p.m. tip off with a 3:30 p.m. start at Bemidji State Saturday afternoon. The Wildcats enter this weekend's action with records of 4-10 and 1-10 in the NSIC while SCSU is 8-6 and 5-5 in league games. Bemidji State starts the weekend at 3-11 and 0-10 in NSIC games. Wayne State leads the all-time series vs. St. Cloud State 15-8, but the Huskies have won four of the last five meetings including a 65-61 win in St. Cloud last year. The Wildcats hold a 36-15 edge in the all-time series vs. Bemidji State with wins in six of the last seven matchups. Last year WSC won 71-55 in Wayne while BSU beat the 'Cats in Bemidji two years ago 60-51.
