The Wayne State football team is on the road again this weekend as the Wildcats venture north to face the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota Saturday afternoon in a 2 p.m. contest.  The 'Cats, ranked 24th in this week's D2Football.com Top 25 Media Poll, is 5-1 overall and tied for second in the NSIC with a 4-1 league mark following last Saturday night's 41-7 road victory at Southwest Minnesota State.  UMary is 1-6 and 0-6 in the league after last week's 48-7 setback at Winona State.  WSC has a 10-1 lead in the all-time series vs. the Marauders but seven of the 11 meetings in the series have been decided by seven points or less.  In the most recent meeting played in the 2022 season opener at UMary, the Wildcats held on for a 33-28 win over the Marauders.
