Wayne State hosts Sioux Falls in a matchup of top four teams in the NSIC Saturday afternoon at Cunningham Field in Wayne with kickoff set for 12 p.m. in the annual Hall of Fame Game. The Wildcats are 6-1 and in a three-way tie for first in the league at 5-1 following a 30-0 shutout win at UMary last Saturday while the 6-2 (5-2 NSIC) Cougars slipped past Minnesota Duluth 24-21 last weekend in Sioux Falls. Sioux Falls holds a 9-2 lead in the all-time series against the Wildcats that started in the 2012 season when the Cougars joined the NSIC. WSC currently has a two-game winning streak over the Cougars, both wins coming on the road. Wayne defeated USF 31-24 (2022) and 28-20 (2023) in their last two contests.
