Wayne State will play two games in two days this week as the Wildcats travel to Marshall, Minnesota Tuesday evening to open Northern Sun Conference play against 5-0 Southwest Minnesota State followed by a Wednesday afternoon home contest vs. William Jewell College at 4 p.m. to close out this year's non-conference slate. The Wildcats are 2-1 following last week's 67-57 home win over Nebraska-Kearney.  SMSU is off to a 5-0 start following weekend road wins at Chadron State and Black Hills State while William Jewell College is 1-3 on the season.  Last year, SMSU defeated Wayne State 75-68 in Wayne in the lone matchup between the two clubs.  Wednesday's game vs. William Jewell is just the fourth meeting all-time and the first since the 2015-16 season.
