#10 Wayne State hit an NSIC-league best .444 Friday evening in sweeping MSU Moorhead 25-15, 25-11 and 25-9 at Rice Auditorium on Senior Night in Northern Sun Conference volleyball action. The win moved WSC to 20-5 on the season and 12-3 in league play, marking the sixth straight season and 18
th time n 19 years that the Wildcats have registered a 20-win season. MSU Moorhead is now 9-14 and 4-11 in league play.
The Wildcats jumped out to leads of 8-2 and 15-4 in the opening set while cruising to a 25-15 win.
Taya Beller had five kills on six attacks to pace the 'Cats followed by
Maggie Brahmer with four kills on five swings.
Rhianna Wilhelm accounted for two service aces in the opening set as WSC hit .385 while forcing seven attack errors on MSU Moorhead.
The second set saw the hot-hitting Wildcats notch 16 kills with a .556 hitting percentage on just one error in rolling to a 25-11 set victory.
Brahmer and
Channatee Robles each had five kills in the set.
The third set saw the Wildcats force nine MSU Moorhead attack errors, holding the Dragons to a -.129 hitting percentage to post a 25-9 win for the straight set sweep.

Chloe Hanel,
Brooklyn Kusler and Robles each had three kills for the Wildcats in the final set. Beller added two solo blocks for the 'Cats.
Wayne State hit .444, the second-highest attack percentage of the season, with 42 kills and just six errors on 81 attacks. MSU Moorhead was held to a .019 percentage with 24 kills and 22 errors on 104 attacks.
The Wildcats held a 50-31 edge in digs and had 10 blocks to two for MSU Moorhead.
Robles led a balanced Wildcat attack with 11 kills followed by Beller and Brahmer with 10 kills apiece.
Brahmer had a team-high six blocks followed by Romano with four. Senior libero

Molly Romano handed out 33 set assists.
The Wildcats host #21 Northern State Saturday in a 4 p.m. contest at Rice Auditorium.
