The Wayne State women's basketball team closes out the 2024 portion of this year' schedule with two games this week, visiting Sioux Falls Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m. followed by a Saturday afternoon home contest vs. Augustana at
 3:30 p.m. in Rice Auditorium.
            The 'Cats are 4-5 and 1-4 in NSIC play. USF is 6-6 and 2-3 in the league while Augustana is 1-9 and 0-5 in NSIC games.
Last season, WSC lost in overtime at Sioux Falls 70-68 while the 'Cats defeated the Vikings in Wayne 60-51. Wayne State College women's basketball can be heard on the Wildcat Sports Network and flagship radio stations KTCH FM 104.9/KCTY 1590 AM-98.9 FM in Wayne. Fans outside the KTCH listening areas can listen to the broadcast by logging onto the internet broadcast link at www.waynedailynews.com.
