Wayne State hits the road this weekend for a Northern Sun Conference contest at Winona State with kickoff set for Saturday at 1 p.m. WSC is 2-1 (1-1 NSIC) following last week's 35-28 home setback to then #11 Minnesota State while Winona State has a 1-1 record (1-0 NSIC) after winning 31-14 last Saturday evening at Concordia-St. Paul. The Warriors hold a 21-5 lead over WSC in the all-time series and has won the last six meetings over the Wildcats in Winona. Two years ago in the last meeting between the two teams Winona State scored 38 unanswered points to defeat WSC 38-14 in Winona.
