With two home wins over Top 25 teams over the weekend, the Wayne State College volleyball team moved back into the Top 10 this week at seventh in the latest AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll announced late Monday afternoon. WSC received 866 points in voting by various Division II coaches nationwide.
The Wildcats, tied for first in the NSIC at 8-1 and 15-3 overall, beat #22 Minnesota State Friday 3-0 and rallied Saturday for a 3-2 win over #10 St. Cloud State. WSC resumes play Thursday evening visiting Sioux Falls at 6 p.m. followed by a home match Saturday at 2 p.m. vs. #15 Southwest Minnesota State in Rice Auditorium.
