The Wayne State College volleyball team moved up one spot to sixth in this week's AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll announced late Monday afternoon. WSC received 885 points in voting by various Division II coaches nationwide after posting two wins last week at Sioux Falls (3-0) and a Saturday 3-1 win over then #15 Southwest Minnesota State.
The Wildcats, tied for first in the NSIC at 10-1 and 17-3 overall, play three NSIC road matches this week starting Tuesday evening at Augustana in a 6 p.m. contest. WSC also visits Bemidji State Friday at 6 p.m. and #18 Minnesota Duluth Saturday for a 4 p.m. match.
