Wayne State and #9 Minnesota State are both coming off bye weeks and face each other Saturday at Bob Cunningham Field in Wayne for a 1 p.m. NSIC South Division contest.  The Mavericks are 6-1 on the season (3-0 NSIC South) while the Wildcats are 3-4 and 1-1 in divisional play.  MSU's last game was a 47-21 home win October 11th vs. Winona State while WSC is coming off a 26-21 home setback to Bemidji State.  Minnesota State holds a 15-2 lead in the all-time series against WSC, winning 35-28 in Wayne last season on a touchdown with 24 seconds to play.  The 'Cats own wins over MSU in the 2021 (35-24) and 2022 (41-33) seasons.
