The Wayne State volleyball team was ranked fourth in the final regular season AVCA/TARAFLEX Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll released Monday afternoon. The 27-4 Wildcats received 993 points in voting conducted by 47 various Division II coaches from across the country.
Wayne State finished the regular season 27-4 and tied for first in the NSIC with a 19-1 league record. The Wildcats are expected to receive an at-large bid to the NCAA Division II National Tournament with the selection show slated for this evening (Monday) at 6:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
